I’ve been thinking about getting a pair of white booties for a few seasons now, finally bit the bullet this year. I mostly did this because I discovered my favorite, go-to, would-die-without, pointed-toe black leather booties came in white – so figured it was time! I’m so excited to style them with more. I’ve only worn them once so far – the temps JUST dropped here in NYC and I just refuse to wear booties when it’s still 80 degrees outside! Styled them above with my favorite fall staple: a pleated midi skirt in a perfect autumn hue (just got another one in like a burgundy/purple sort of color, I love my pleated midis!).

Something I love specifically about the pair I got: they have black accents. I wear a LOT of black (especially in the colder times since I have an infinite number of black sweaters – they’re so chic!). The black elastic and black sole of my white booties helps them not be so super stark, but I honestly love an all-white bootie, too (oh the drama! the pop!)! It’s up to you, but I think it’s a little easier to pull off if there’s a little black or some other detail that helps tone down the white just a tad.

STYLING A WHITE BOOTIE

Adding this bootie into your fall wardrobe is a really easy way to feel like you have a whole new wardrobe. The white is such a fresh pop against fall tones, they basically look good with any outfit you would normally pair black or darker booties with. But all of the looks will feel so much fresher and younger, more contemporary with a white bootie instead of that traditional darker boot.
