The Boyfriend Blazer | The Freckled Life

A clear front-runner for the staple of the season is the boyfriend blazer. I’m pretty much game for anything oversized since it usually equates to being comfier and more practical. And this is definitely the most put-together oversized piece you’ll have in your closet.

I styled mine with a simple fitted black turtleneck, high-waisted cropped jeans, a belt, my favorite pointed toe booties, and a pair of statement earrings. A turtleneck is definitely my favorite pairing for a boyfriend blazer (or really any blazer). It feels incredibly chic and clean. So then adding just a little oomph with a pretty belt buckle and on-trend statement earrings make for the perfect look.

My other favorite ways to style this are 1) with a plain white tee (surprise surprise… but hey minimalism is a beautiful way of life!) + skinnies ; 2) with a graphic tee + black jeans; and 3) with a midi slip dress + booties.
